Tee Yai: Born to Be Bad is basically a retro cat-and-mouse ride: swagger vs. scrutiny. If you like crime stories with style, you’ll probably grin. If you want realism, you might roll your eyes.

Und dann kommt ein Polizist, der nicht an Magie glaubt, sondern an Spuren, Geduld und ein sehr unbequemes Maß an Aufmerksamkeit. Tee Yai: Born to Be Bad ist weniger „Moral-Drama“ als ein Katz-und-Maus-Spiel mit Zeitgeist-Charm. Und ja, es wird irgendwann eng. Nicht wegen der Kleiderordnung. Sondern weil jemand endlich zu genau hinsieht.
